Maggie Valley, North Carolina - On Thursday, February 4 and Friday, February 5, 2010, Cataloochee Ski Area in conjunction with the Maggie Valley Police Association shows its support of law enforcement personnel everwhere with greatly reduced rates for lift tickets, lessons and rentals on those days. All law enforcement, both current and retired, from all divisions and their families will receive the following pricing on lift, lessons and rentals on Thursday and Friday - lift only will be $15.00, lift and ski or snowboard rental will be $25.00 and lift, ski or snowboard rental, and lesson will be $25.00. This is 75% off the regular lift, lesson and rental rate! Pricing is good for day, twilight or night skiing sessions and not good with any other discount or package. Tubing is also available at a reduced rate of $10 per person, per session on these dates. Families must be present with personnel with i.d. at time of purchase. Maggie Valley Police Association members will be on hand to sell tee shirts for those days. Cataloochee also donates $3.00 from each lift ticket sold to law personnel to the Association.
