Maggie Valley, North Carolina - Cataloochee will be open on 100% of the mountain on Monday, January 16, on all 16 slopes with 5 lifts operating. Base for the ski area is 20"-58" with a groomed surface. This is the first time all 16 slopes have been available for guests to ski and ride this season. Runs will be available from the top of the mountain down for all ability levels...including the Cat Cage Terrain Park, which will be set up on Monday as well. Cataloochee will be open for day skiing only from 8:30am until 4:30pm. Tube World, Cataloochee's tubing area located in Maggie Valley, will be open on Monday from 10am until 6pm.
