| The Southeastern Ski Areas Association (SSAA) is comprised of seventeen
major ski areas in five states. The goal of the SSAA is to promote skiing
as America's #1 recreational sport.
By providing daily Snow Reports, the SSAA strives to provide broadcasters,
print media, and the general public the most concise and accurate
information about our member resorts. Take a few minutes to browse our home
page and click on the specific links to the member resorts. We encourage
you to call the member resorts for further information, directions, or
pricing.
How come it's free? The SSAA shares the cost among its member ski areas.
Why? To provide current reliable snow conditions for the general public.
Many of your listeners and viewers are more likely to ski closer to home
before going out West. Some folks may be surprised that they can reach
seventeen SSAA ski areas in a five state area! West Virginia, Virginia,
North Carolina, Maryland and Tennessee all have terrific get-away ski areas
within driving distance of your broadcast markets.
